This has to be the best 10x loupe APMEX sells. They sell other, much more expensive magnifiers, but this is the best value. This is a perfectly clear loupe and the 10x zoom is even closer than I thought it would be. Perfect for getting a much better look at devices and mint marks on most US coins.

Was a little doubtful about getting it due to being small. But it's perfect. I was able to see the smallest scratches and mint mark on my old 1944 Silver Liberty Coin and other old coins. It did take me a little while to get to know on how to adjust the focus. But other than that I believe that it was a great investment. I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good quality magnifier a decent price.

I was having trouble reading the dates on the random year 1/10 ounce gold eagles. Not anymore. This lens brings them right out so you can see them.
