$20 Liberty Gold Double Eagle AU (Random Year)

I have zero complaints about my purchase. I received a lower mintage 1895-S in amazing shape; would say MS-62+. This one will be going to PCGS. I have a serious love for the pre 33’ gold pieces, and you will too once you get some in your hands! 100% would buy again.

Asked for an older coin and got a nice 1878 thanks again Apmex!

My coin today arrived in great shape, with just some very light surface scratching due to pocket jingling from back in the day when it was money. Good relief, nice full rim, and no feature wear worth mentioning. Zero gouges or dings. I plan to buy this again in the future.

Pre-1933 gold is a great investment, and APMEX gold never disappoints. Received a nice 1904 coin. Quick delivery.

First purchase from APMEX. Was a little nervous about buying a "random AU" online. I've been burned before. But the coin I received from APMEX was exceptional. Higher mintage year, but very, very limited friction and virtually full luster. It really is a beautiful coin. Highly recommend.

Coins arrived today in a timely manner. Quicker than I anticipated. Problem is the 1906 AU58 is obviously more worn down than the 1890 AU50. Maybe there's a reason for this I don't understand. If so I will adjust my review. Will be getting in touch with APMEX and sending photographs.

i asked for something pre 1890 and as usual, got what I asked for - an amazing 1877s in at least AU58 condition. It's gorgeous, all the lines are sharp, her hair has all the strand detail. No nicks or scratches, etc. More like an MS60/61...anyways. The problem is...parting with this is going to be tough. So, if you intend to sell later, you might want to steer into modern bullion that is common to the nth degree. These old excellent condition pieces of US history instantly create a place in any ones' collection. They have a history, an energy, and have been cared for a very long time to stay in such great condition for over 140 years. Again, Apmex comes through. Carry better selection than the best LCS out this way. Sorry Paul, but they do.

I'm new to gold coins as a collectible. Coins I have received have been good quality. Only complaint I might have would be when you are not given the exact year of coin you will receive.

Ordered a Liberty Double Eagle AU, random year. Requested one dated prior to 1900, as a favor since this was my third gold purchase since late January. I was a little disappointed when I got a 1900. Condition was as represented.

Very beautiful gold coin in excellent condition. Just as advertised. I wanted one these coins really bad as I had very very few pre-1900 gold coins. I do order quite a bit and I just had that one small request and they fulfilled it. Thank you
