2010 China 1 oz Silver Panda BU (In Capsule)

I've purchased other silver pandas and never had an issue but for some reason I've had to return 2 of these which APMEX has exchanged and paid for postage. Just disappointed that this year has been such an issue for me. I will continue to purchase the pandas as I love the annual design change and aside from this year, never had an issue.

Out of the dozens of different 1 oz silver coins I have from all across the globe, the pandas are up there at the top of my list and are one of the very few series I've chosen to collect a full set of. They are consistently very well done coins, both in quality and design. There's a high level of proof-like detail and they are great at utilizing different textures and finishes. The 2010 panda is no exception. Was received in perfect condition in a mint capsule.

The obverse has a milk spot, pretty big and noticeable, and a couple of small marks, plus a couple of scratches on the edge. For the high price APMEX charges for this coin, I expected much better quality. The coin should have been perfect. If I were based in the US, I would send it back right away. Now I am stuck with it. Really disappointed.

I've been stacking silver (mostly) and gold for less than one year now. I've found that I am really fond of chinese pandas along with most Perth Mint bullion. I ordered this 2010 silver panda to add to my panda army (mint sheets of the later years and a few of each of the older years). I find it disappointing that I received a 2010 silver panda with milk spots on the reverse. Though milk spots are common, I find it really takes away from this coins beauty.

good investment

I always knew the Chinese Silver Pandas were nice high-end coins. However, I also like the Britannia’s and Libertads. After receiving the 2009 and the 2010 Pandas, I compared them to all the other premium coins I have. I can clearly say no other coin even comes close in terms of fine detail and absolute beauty.

coins are excellent although the sheet they come in is a bit awkard for storage.

chinese silver panda is the best as far as quality and design is concerned. it looks like 2009 and 2010 issue are a pair.

My favorite of the Sivler coins. Look forward to each years design.
