I purchased three of these bars as a gift to myself. They are expensive, but were something I wanted for many years. The description said that the serial numbers would be random based on stock available. They arrived quickly and well packaged as always. The bars are in excellent condition, and to my amazement, when checking the bars serial numbers and features on the All Engelhard website, two of the bars were Tier 1 series 3 and one was a Tier 4. I never thought I would own a Tier 1 Engelhard, and now I have 2. Maybe my experience is unique, but I could not be happier with the bars selected.

The poured bull logo is one of my favorite Engelhard silver bars. I bought two of these, and I'm very happy with my purchase. Thank you Apmex. I hope you have more for sale in the future. Ordering was easy and the product arrived just as advertised. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I had wanted to purchase an Engelhard product for quite awhile. When I got the opportunity to purchase the 10 oz poured bar with a reasonable spot price I had to pull the trigger! This is a collectible! Probably been around for 40-50 years! One drawback, I only wish it would have been in some type of plastic holder or sleeve. Otherwise, typical great service and great products from APMEX!

I bought this collectible Engelhard bar after I had already owned basic products like silver eagles and maple leafs. I have to say, this beautiful hunk of metal is totally worth the premium. Once you hold it in your hand, you will understand why. It just feels great. You and your friends will be amazed at how heavy it is. It has an industrial beauty to it as well -- minted in Newark, NJ and no longer manufactured -- it evokes the hard, cold industrialism of a bye-gone era in America, a la "Atlas Shrugged". Give it a try -- you won't regret it.

APMEX always has great inventory available when I have funds to invest in precious metals. I prefer older silver bars rather than shiny new ones, and always seem to find great items at great prices!
