ugly copper spot kinda wrecks this for me

2nd gold coin i got from APMEX that has an ugly copper spot. Makes me think it will probably be my last.

NO BU COIN AS ADVERTISED

1979 Gold Maple Leaf. First Year and great design. Removed the Coin from the Plastic Flip, immediately noticed long multiple surface scratches on the Obverse (The Field behind her head). Unhappy, disappointed and over-all feel lousy. Oh well live and lose! Quality has been an issue in the last 2 years with APMEX. My purchases have decreased sharply because of this. One positive; my scratched BU coin arrive in 2 days. Good Shipping Mate!

Beautiful coin, just as advertised.

It was the first year strike for the Gold Canadian Maple Leaf, plus the atomic number for gold is 79, I thought that was neat.

I am happy to have the first year that a gold bullion coin was issued by Royal Canadien Mint. ("79" is also the Atomic number for gold). The coin I received looked a little nicer than the picture.
