The cougar is the third coin we got from the Canada Wildlife series. The other was the moose, and we happened to end up with the wolf when we chose a random design purchase. Though these coins are several years old, they were in amazing condition, so we will attempt to get the other three to complete the set.

Started out with a plan to complete a basic bullion collection of SMLs (BU). But once I got started, I fell in love with Canadian 38mm coins. Really love this series. awesome that I was able to find all 6 in this series at APMEX... no hunting, one order! Arrived in near perfect condition.

I purchased this coin because it was part of the Wildlife Series from the Royal Canadian Mint. The design is really nice and I like the .9999 silver and lower mintage. The only downside in my view is that there could have been more contrast in finishes. A very attractive coin for any collector.
