5 oz Silver Bar - APMEX (2012 Year of the Dragon)

Arrived in sealed plastic. The bar itself, is beautiful, and where it wasn't damaged, was perfect. However, it was scratched quite a bit on one side (-1 star), and also has a large milk spot (-1 star). As stated in the Bar Highlights: "Bars come sealed in plastic to protect their finish and design" but it did neither... Or it was like that, and they repackaged it.

the top where it says Year of the dragon was a bit un readable guess from the process of the bar, others have been great, but this one in particular was a bit rough on that top area.

Loved the 5 oz Dragon silver bar, however, the flimsy plastic "protector" or plastic it came in, didn't do a good job! Scratch in the edge of the bar. I wish it would be better protected.

These are really cool lunar bars. The design is great, the price is great, and I'm sure they will be easy to sell if need be. Thank you!

Everything ever ordered from Apmex is great including these 5 ounce bars. Apmex's service is the best service ever in the history of the United States of America!

I like Apmex bars. Good design and reasonable pricing.

I have been purchasing the 2012 "Year of the Dragon", 2013 "Year of the Snake", 2014 "Year of the Horse, and the 2015 "Year of the Ram" bars in 1/2oz., 1oz, and 5oz. They are all of high quality, and packaged in the clear sealed plastic packed in foam for protection. Delivered in 2 to 3 days. I am now getting the 10oz bars of the same for my collection. You won't be disappointed if you start a collection of these items.

Investment in metal that has nice theme and enjoyable to look at

With this I now have the entire collection in 5oz bars of the Lunar Year designs. Starting with Year of the Dragon to the most recent Year of the Ram, My business with APMEX has been nothing but outstanding. A personable sales and customer service staff only adds to the luster that is already found in their products. APMEX is a winner and I will continue doing business with them, specifically for the one of a kind items that can only be found here. Thank you APMEX!

It's really nice to look at, but I can't seem to find any capsules/air-tites to store it in. The plastic "bag" that it came in was slightly compromised, so I'm using a plastic sleeve of my own for now until I get something better to store it in. It also came with a few tiny scuff marks on the edges and what appears to be a tiny smudge on one side. If it weren't for the small blemishes and the compromised plastic "bag" that it came in, I would have gave it a 5 star rating. Despite the flaws, I'm still happy to own it though and I'm sure someone else would enjoy having one as long as it arrives in pristine condition.
