After buying 2013 Libertads and noticing that they are truly a good buy, I bought a few of these 2012 Libertads. These Coins are not flashy, but they are a good deal. The Obverse highlights the aspirations of a people and the Reverse side denotes a peoples' tenacity, resilliance, and the harsh conditions of their land. This coin says it all.

The low-medium mintage and low premium makes the Libertad a solid investment choice. However, it is not for those who like flashy, mirror finishes and pristine appearance (not including proofs). While the newer years have improved, the overall line is very rustic (and that's being kind). Nevertheless, serious collectors should consider buying these every year.

Just one beautiful coin from the Casa de Moneda de Mexico. One troy ounce of .999 Silver just might come in handy in the not too distant future.

I love Mexican Silver and these were a great deal. Beautiful design and they arrived fast (as always). Wrapped rom the mint in hard tubes of 20 you can get them out easily to fondle.
