My son started my interest in gold and silver coins. This item was on his "wish list" for his birthday. I have been purchasing gold and silver for a couple of years and AMPEX is THE place to buy from.

1/20 Oz. Gold Maple Leaf

I am impressed with the beauty of the coin for it's size. It is very small. They appear to be manufactured for those who require a discreet form of gold or those on a budget. I gave it four stars only because I'm considering whether the small bars in assay might be a better fit. Nothing wrong with the coin.

I am usually a silver buyer but I wanted to start looking into purchasing other metals. These small maple leafs are an affordable way to get started.
