1 kilo Silver Bar - Germania Mint (Serialized)

As I have come to expect with APMEX, it arrived quickly and perfectly as did the coins in the same delivery. The elegant bar exceeds expectations in feel and appeal. In fact, I could not initially tell when I opened its box that its plastic protected - so tightly wrapped, bright silver shines right through. In my mind, this makes it worth extra premium. The only drawback is that it would be a simple matter to provide a serial card to match so that the number stamped on the bar does not have to be manually recorded.

Purchased one of these a few days ago and it finally arrived today after 2 days of waiting. The wait was worth it, the visual quality, luster, smoothness, and strike is exceptional. Shipping was fast and the bar was doubled wrap which was an added protection bonus. This bar fits nicely with my collection and looks like I'll need to buy a case of 5 next!

I really like these and are my only choice for the kilo bar. They cost a few dollars more than my favorite 10 oz bar (Pioneer), but the are the best value for "4 nines fine" silver and serialized. The look great so where as I typically go for lowest price these are worth just a little more.

As far as premiums go, you could do better with another brand. But, you could certainly do a lot worse. When I thing of Germania Mint, I think of high premium products which are simply stunning to behold. It’s nice that they are offering a sleek looking product for serious stackers that are modestly priced. The packaging is handsome, yet very basic. Simplicity never looked so good. I ended up buying another as soon as the first one was delivered.

Beautiful shiny silver Kilo , very quality stuff happy with the quick shipping and service

It comes sealed in a very thin plastic which I have yet to open because it is barely noticable. It also comes in a nice cardstock box. I love the shiny finish but the reason I give it 4 stars is I feel the order of the stamps and the size of the font does not sit perfectly with this bar. A great silver bar overall. If you are interested in buying a kilo silver bar for the first time or adding another to your collection you wouldn't be wrong to get this one.

Don't overthink it. Just buy it!

This is a beautiful bar; it took a little longer to get than usual, but the markets are drying up in-stock Items forcing us to wait just a little longer. This is worth the wait though! I didn’t realize it right away but the bar is covered in a thin layer of sealed plastic too. It is very unnoticeable and I missed this detail the first time I held it. Will make a great gift!
