An interesting coin!

My first Niue coin! My wife was drawn to this one, so I added one to an order to hit the free shipping level. The finish is pretty slick in person, and gives off a real "hammered metal" vibe. Overall, an ounce of silver in a pretty package, and I would buy one again. I just wouldn't choose these to build a stack/tube with, as the premium is a bit higher than other government-backed silver.

Nice homage to an ancient

Love the design homage to the owl tetradrachm from Athens. The field is proof like and has a nice hammertone finish, though the device appears a bit washed out in spots. The strike on mine is a bit off center leading to an uneven rim but I don't really care. I'm tired of Liz's face on coinage, but am overall happy with it
