1978-1980 Mexico 1 oz Silver Onza Balance Scale AU/BU

Awesome vintage 1 ounce silver coin, and huge!

Was wiling to pay the extra premium on these coins to round out my collection and glad I did. By the time I received them silver had gone up over $6/oz. Beautiful coins with full lustre.

waiting for more….

i love it

I ordered 18 of these and got them a week later. I received 6 1979 and 12 1980 dates. All were AU, a few may push toward BU, but they all looked good together. Some light toning. All in all, exactly as advertised. I like these because there are very few coins in sterling silver, nice to have examples to see how they look.

nice sized Mexican coin with a nice and simple design, ill be sure to pick up a few more in the future.

Very attractive coin, should have gotten a few more .

I rarely purchase "random date" coin offers, but this was such a good deal I decided to give it a try. And once again Apmex proved why I continue to purchase all of my coins from them with confidence. I purchased 5 Silver Onzas and received 5 beautiful coins, some with really nice toning, and the best surprise of all I received 1-1978, 3-1979, and 1-1980. This is why I continue to shop at Apmex, and I just ordered more.

Received (2)1980 coins in great condition.

Without a doubt, one of the most attractive designs I have ever seen (and I've been around). Although only .925 purity, the 33.625 grams of it equal one full ounce of pure silver. These coins are an excellent alternative to the Silver Libertad. Unfortunately, they are not always available for sale and thus, are highly coveted. As soon as I see them back in stock, I purchase as many as I can without hesitation. Worth every single gram!
