1/2 oz Gold Round - Scotiabank (In Assay)

i love dealing with apmex.but this coin is really scratched up on both sides im felling a little let down!!!!

Bought 2 of these and I was extremely satisfied with the condition of the rounds & assay cards.

Certainly a nice and inexpensive 1/2 of gold in an uncommon round form. I was disappointed, however, that the plastic film encasing the gold was scuffed in places which obstructs the view of the gold round. Still 4 out of 5 rating!

I really like having a range of weights and these rounds help me stock up on bullion in smaller increments. The premium is reasonable and they come in a tidy package. I will be buying more in the future.

The price difference between twice the 1/2Oz and the 1Oz round is not that considerable. I got 2 in June 2010 and will buy more of these and the 1Oz rounds. Its nice to have a shape other than rectangle.

After looking at all the gold bars and rounds on the APMEX website, this product has about the lowest premiums for a half ounce of gold, on a consistent basis. It's Swiss made and sealed in plastic with an assay certificate. An excellent alternative to paying high premiums for gold coins. I will add more of these to my collection if the price of gold drops again.

Like the fact that I can get a new 1/2 gold round sealed with a assay certificate all in one. I'm going to pick me up a few of these!
