1/4 oz American Platinum Eagle Coin BU (Random Year)

They only had 1 in stock unfortunately but I'm pleased with the coin. I received a 1999 BU condition coin and couldn't be happier. I'll order more of these random year coins.

I have always wanted to purchase American Eagle platinum coins.

What drew me to this coin was that it had more detail than it's little 1/10th oz cousin. I went with the random year since it's cheaper (plus an added surprise) to go with a random year instead of choosing a specific date. I've added in "Collectible (lower mintage)" since so far, there's not that many of this size coin left in the store and the US Mint doesn't make any of the fractional sizes anymore.

Received a perfect 2003, which is $40 less than if I asked for that specific year. Have always been extremely satisfied going the random year option.

Nice coin, but has high premium

My interest is to start collecting US coinage with a possibility for resale. Not primary but secondary, I would like to be able to make affordable purchases when I can.

A lot of asset in a light, little package, this time I'll keep the change.

For those who aren't sure on Pt., this coin will help you make up your mind. This is a very nice coin and was my first platinum purchase. However, it is hard for me to sell due to the rarity of Pt.
