Philip II lacked land as most of his nobels controlled the countryside. In order to rectify this, Philip II began seizing land from communities in southern France which led to a religious crusade against heresy.

Fair Value

A nice piece for an ancient collection at a very fair price. It is very thin and highly detailed. I really like Crusade-era coins.
