I often include a random date AG or G Morgan in my APMEX order, and the results have been just fine. They've sent me a number of very pleasing examples, with original surfaces and good eye appeal. UnIike the BU Morgans and WLHs I buy at APMEX, I don't usually send these out for grading, but it's easy to see that APMEX is now much more conservative than it used to be,k and you can rely on getting the grade you pay for. I did receive one coin I didn't like - an unhappy 1897-O that had too much damage to avoid a details grade. Even that coin may have been worth the price -- it is a marginally better date. But I returned it, which was easy and free, and I'm happy with the replacement.

Coins as pictured. Next time I'll go for a higher grade and pay the few pieces of paper more. APMEX has been right on with all of my purchases.

I ordered this because I enjoy coins with history that have been around that long. I was lucky enough to receive one from 1878. It has some signs of wear but still in great condition. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.
