1922 $20 Gold Certificate VF-30 PMG (Fr#1187)

I was looking for an affordable yet nice example of the 1922 $20 gold certificate to remind me of my father, who was born that year. The example I got looked to be a nicer example than a VF 30 that PMG rated it as. All design elements are clear on both sides, there was a mild amount of general dinginess, and it took hard looking with a 10X loupe to detect a fold on the back. PMG says at this level there would normally be 7-10 folds, but I could not find them. Very happy with this example that APMEX sent me. They also encase the PMG holder in a sealed clear outer envelope. It enables you to see the entire note and PMG holder while protecting the whole package. I suppose I could remove it, but I'm leaving it as is for now.
