1925 Stone Mountain Commemorative Half Dollar XF
This commemorative half dollar was designed by Gutzon Borglum, who later carved Mount Rushmore. The coins were sold to raise funds to complete the monument, which depicts three Confederate figures: Stonewall Jackson, Robert E. Lee and Jefferson Davis.

While the details of the coin I received appeared to be in XF condition, I believe the grade is considerably lower as the coin appears to have been cleaned. no toning, no grime in low spots, just very bright white metal.

I've been wanting this piece for awhile now finally broke down and bought it.. it took me awhile to buy because of the price but the price for stone mountain at Ampex is comparable to prices at other dealers.. condition isn't perfect by no means but comparable to picture.. I loved adding this to my collection

This coin arrived frosty and the detail crisp! This couldn’t be a better start to my early American commerative collection. Next coin is The Ellusive Oregon Trail commerative. Thanks again customer service foe picking only the highest quality coins in the grade selection
