Great loking round. I think they should have ran a Saylors rope around the edge to finish it off nicely, but a round to be enjoyed non the less. The back side, complete with skull and "No prey, No pay", finishes it off nicely.

Well i was hesitant about buying this coin of the high premium but i loved the design and im VERY glad i did order the coin because i absolutely love it. The details are amazing and its got a great feel and weight to it. They ship them in sealed APMEX plastic bags which the coin comes in a plastic flip case, i ordered a coin case which they do make for this coin so id advise getting that.

Over the past couple years I've grown quite fond of 2 ounce bullion coinage. Especially the smaller type compensated by added thickness. They have a genuine heft which just screams value. They feel 'good' in the hand. The added artistic detail and craftsmanship of this particular series only adds to the appeal. As I said earlier, these coins are quite thick with reeded, elevated edges and a deep strike which only assists in bringing forth the amazing details on the facings. Since the series isn't dated, no plastic snap tight exists to accommodate it and tarnishing seems imminent, I've taken to adding an antique finish to them. I can't begin to express how truly amazing these coins become when darkened with liver of sulphur and polished by hand. The contrast causes all the small details to pop. The Kraken coin in particular becomes quite ominous in the darkness with the tentacles and sails picking up the silver highlights. If you're looking for a really fantastic bullion coin, look no further. My only regret so far is that the mint doesn't make one in gold. I'd be all over it. Happy investing!

All coins in this series are Awesome. APMEX is the best with great customer service Will buy more. There are 2 oz clear air tite capsules for these rounds out there
