Wanted to own a pre-1907 double-eagle. Goes well with my other one.

This was a very good value purchase. So easy to work with APMEX. Quick shipping. A very common year coin but that was expected. What more could you ask for?

Purchased this PCGS M-62 coin as part of a type set. I was very pleased with the quality. As expected, it was a common date, so no surprise there. All-in-all, very happy with what I received..

I've had all kinds of gold coins before, but there is something about this one that really set's it apart, like one hundred and twenty one years apart. Apmex was kind enough to send me a 1895 example of this vintage piece of gold art. Now i can go back to buying gold eagles. Thank's Apmex..

Pre-1933 gold was the objective. Excellent sample.

These are an excellent value in this grade, having high bullion content and grade is attractive enough that collectors have interest.

These are nice. Anything from au58 though these at ms62 are clear bright coins of top quality. After this grade the price goes way up.

The best value in pre-33 gold. MS-62 is worth the few dollars more than MS-61, and PCGS edges out NGC in popularity. The coin is somewhat plain in design, but it is neat to own something so old and consider the types of people who may have used them in purchases nearly 1.5 centuries ago.
