2010 Australia 1 oz Silver Kookaburra BU

Sweet coins, I like all of the Australian dollars. Super fine details on the bird and the queen, but I have no idea why the artist gave her gills.

Another beautiful coin. Thanks Apmex.

The Australian Kookaburra coin is my #1 favorite coin to collect! A unique design every year seems to only add to its popularity.

Love the Kook. This design is slowly winning me over. I am very satisfied with it.

Beautiful. I used to wake up to the sounds of these birds every morning. Among my all-time favorite coins.

Simply a fantastic coin! The reeding quality is the best I've seen - very sharp and clean cut. The two-tone matte/polish really works great on this year's design.

The Australian Kookaburra 2010 continues legacy of beautifully made bullion coin.

A laughing kookaburra perches on high on a tree branch. The kookaburra is one of the iconic symbols of Australia, made all the more desirable by the Perth Mint's execution of this handsome bird in pure silver, artistically rendered in a unique, reverse proof finish! This year the kooka sits high a tree branch, surveying its domain. This beautiful coin is part of the highly collectible series of one ounce Pure Silver Kookaburras. The kookaburra is probably the best known bird of Australia. There are actually four species of kookaburra found in Australia and New Guinea. All are members of the Kingfisher family.

This is a very beautiful coin. My personal favorite. Just look at that amazing bird.
