This is a series. The current for sale is DaVinci. They are hard to find and sell out quickly. They are an excellent short term investment.

Yes, as others have mentioned, it is a proof-like coin. Very beautiful, the best among my silver coins. I like that it honor a great scientist of the past (we need more coins like that). The price premium is well justified. On a downside, it is not among most popular silver coins, so it can be harder to sell.

this was a cool looking coin, so I picked one up. ordered a case for it too, didn't actually need it, it turns out, but I was able to fit a 2020 usa silver oz coin in there with a little trimming on the foam.

Another reviewer mentioned "proof like" and that is very accurate. These are very nice almost proof like BU coins. I will buy more if the spot price dips. The proof version of this series is immaculate.

Beautiful coin, proof like. The design is fantastic with plenty of detail. Both the obverse and the reverse are stunning! I’m very pleased with this purchase.
