I buy these all the time and snap them into grams ( one Gram Bar) and sell them as people do recognize this bar and not need an assay card to identify that this is a true Gram of Platinum. The3 Technology that went into making these bars snap into one gram bars is truly amazing as I have weighed them and where spot on 1g of Platinum

Wow! Platinum is cheaper than gold and Pt is actually much more useful than Au! It is much harder and much rarer, and I happen to prefer the color of platinum over gold. I chose this product for when the time comes to design an engagement ring and a wedding ring. After that, I should still have around 30g of Pt left over to either make more jewelry or to keep/sell as an investment! The premium for this product is reasonable, compared to the premiums for other Pt products you'll find on the market (especially jewelry). Take the retail price here and divide by 1.607 to get what the cost is for 1 ozt; then, compare that to the price of other 1ozt Pt options out there. The easily divisible nature of this product makes any small difference in price well worth the investment. By the way, don't be surprised if the product you receive is a little smaller than you expected (platinum weighs more than gold). To get an idea of the size, fold a US dollar bill in half. The actual metal rectangle will fit within the top and bottom margins of the dollar and the sides of the bar fall just within the edges of that folded dollar.
