Eastern Roman Empire Bronze Coins (286-396 AD) (Avg. Circ.)

The coinage of the Eastern Roman Empire mimicked the portraiture of the Western Empire and uses many of its traditional devices. Most of these pieces have attractive red clay still embedded on the coins which enhance the overall look of the portraits.

decent detail for 1600 years old not what the picture shows but better then a "round piece of grave"

better condition then reviews led me to think it would be but for under 20 bucks I'd take the gamble

Not as Pictured

It's just a round blob of something. I didn't expect that much for the price but there wasn't even an outline of what it's supposed to be. Even at this price I wouldn't buy this one.

Spend more

Just spend $5 more for a VF/XF. Looks like a small, flat stone with no features to discern it as a coin.

neat historical coin

What’s the coin in good shape not really. But what do you expect for five dollars? I really enjoyed opening. I I bought it for the pure historical aspect of it and the age. If you’re looking for a coin in good condition spend more than five dollars.

I was satisfied with mine

It’s a literal ancient coin. Anyone who buys is subject to luck of the draw. Mine was in great condition for a $7 coin and packaged well. If you’re looking for something definite look elsewhere. It was small however, smaller than a dime.

Poor condition

Absolutely no visible design or detail to coins (ordered two). Can’t even tell that they were coins.
