Mexico Silver 8 Reales Cap & Rays (Chopmark, ASW .7859 oz)
A Chop Mark is a small punched impression applied by merchants and banks in the Orient to attest to the full weight and metallic content of a coin. This coin was the workhouse coin, not of just Spain and its colonies, but of the entire world!

Ordered one and received and 1881 in decent condition. The chopmarks were not too distinctive but visible even without a magnifying glass. I would order again.

Good points first.. Coin is rare and old 1868. A must for any silver coin collector. Cons, highly worn and no chopmarks visible. Overpriced.
